The Cranleigh is situated two minutes walk from Lake Windermere and one minutes walk to the central Village of Bowness on windermere where you will find a large selection of established restaurants, shops, cafes and bars.
From Bowness you may choose to enjoy a trip out on one of the famous Windermere Lake cruises which visit the beautiful village of Ambleside or to Lakeside where you can catch a ride on one of the steam trains. There is also an Aquarium to enjoy at Lakeside.
