“Me and my boyfriend visited the Cranleigh on a Sunday night and were in Luxury Room 6. We had the Wintermacy offer which included a bottle of champagne, a box of chocolate and rose petals on the bed, a really nice touch. The staff on the front desk were chatty and very welcoming. Room was immaculate, loved the extras like mood lighting, wireless speaker, tv in bathroom and up to date TV options! We also were given a discount on BAHA and The Fizzy Tarte. I will most definitely make this the only place I stay in Windermere with my boyfriend, and Luxury Room 6 may become the room we opt for all the time! no6 is. 5 STARS!“

Myself and wife stayed in Luxury Room 6 for 2 nights in April 2019.
The staff were very polite and helpful.
The room was a good size with plenty of facilities. The fridge was very helpful for keeping booze cold. The safe worked and the bed was comfortable.
The bathroom was excellent – a jacuzzi bathtub big enough for 2. it was a bit noisy but worked well. TV in the bath was an added bonus for relaxing after a 15-mile hike.
Shower very good.
Only downside was that it was up 2 steep staircases – reception offered to carry cases up, but I declined – wish I’d accepted after experiencing the climb.
The room was very well presented, with a free bottle of champagne, chocolates and very good shower gel etc. The housekeeper did a very good job in tidying during the day.
Overall, I would most definitely return on another special occasion without the kids. Also used the facilities – steam room/sauna/pool/jacuzzi in the neighbouring hotel. this was fantastic and approx a 2 min walk up the road.
