What to do in December: The Lake District

It's a scary thought but December is almost upon us with Christmas only around the corner. If you are lucky enough to be in The Lake District over the festive period, here are a few suggestions and ideas for what you can do this December.

 

Session 4 at The Brewery Wine Club: Christmas Winners

The Brewery Wine Club is a new series of events taking place at The Brewery Arts Centre. Hosted by long established and highly regarded wine merchant Chris Leather, The wine club is an opportunity to explore and learn more about our trusted and faithful friend, vino. Taste classic and less well known wines from around the world in the comfortable and atmospheric Warehouse Café. Session 4, 'Christmas Winners', is all about which wines should accompany your festive feast this Christmas. Guaranteed to be a jolly and entertaining evening.

Ja Windermere German Christmas Market

A brand new and exciting event for the little town of Windermere! Visitors will be able to enjoy stalls selling delightful seasonal gifts, a range of delicious food and drinks, plus, live music and street entrainment. The festivities are then expected to continue into the evening in the bars and pubs of Windermere.

 

Cartmel Christmas Food market

This popular food market is held every third Friday of the month and features the finest food from the local area (expect the tastiest sticky toffee pudding ever to grace this planet).
