A sunny day in May in the Lakes

May 11th - Keswick to Barrow Walk

A challenging 40 mile sponsored team event to raise money for charity and other good causes. Each team to consist of 6 – 12 walkers.

May 12th – The Fred Whitton Challenges
A very demanding 112 mile sportive ride for charity starting and finishing in Coniston. The route includes the steep gradients of Kirkstone Pass, Honister Pass, Newlands, Hardknott and Wrynose Passes.

May 18th – Derwent Island Swim
A 1500 metre swim around Derwent Island starting at 10am. This is part of the Keswick Mountain Festival Event.

May 19th – Brathay to Windermere Marathon
The course, starting and finishing in the grounds of Brathay Hall is a complete circle of Lake Windermere and takes in Hawkshead, Newby Bridge and Waterhead.

May 19th – Keswick Triathlon
This event is part of the Keswick Mountain Festival and consists of a swim, cycle and run over either a long or short route.
