We’re up for a prestigious award tonight

Jo Spencer - Wednesday, October 21, 2015
Everyone likes a pat on the back from time to time and we’re no different here at the Cranleigh Boutique! Now, we’re not ones to blow our own trumpet, but ‘industry awards’ is something we do pretty well. Tonight, we will find out whether we have won a prestigious regional award, with Stephen nominated for ‘Leisure Entrepreneur of the Year’, at the North West Entrepreneur of the Year awards. We know it’s a tough category and competition is stiff, but we’ve dusted off our DJ’s and are ready to go!

These particular awards are the region’s top accolade for owner-managed businesses and are now in their 12th year. Providing an opportunity to recognise formally, the outstanding contribution that the North West’s business people make, the event is very much revered. The evening brings together more than 500 of the most successful business leaders, corporate advisors and investors in the region. We know we’re in good company.

In the past, guest speakers have included the likes of Sir Alan Sugar and Michael Portillo and the judging panel consists of highly successful entrepreneurs (including a dragon from TV’s Dragon’s Den!) and previous winners such as Simon Nixon (Moneysupermarket.com), Jennie Johnson (Kids Allowed), Antony Preston (Pets at Home) and Tom Bloxham (Urban Splash).

This year, the judges are looking for the region’s most exciting businesses and business leaders; the entrepreneurs that are really making a difference and standing out from the crowd. If we know one thing, it’s this; the Cranleigh Boutique brand is one of the most unique businesses in the country. We’ve been striving to offer our guests an inimitable experience since day one and aren’t afraid to be distinctive. Afterall, that’s what’s kept us at the pinnacle of the industry.

Tonight’s event is at the Mere Golf Resort and Spa, in Cheshire and we can’t wait to be standing up with the best of them. Fingers crossed!
